STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT TO CHILD SAFETY
Ted Noffs Foundation is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people accessing Noffs programs and services.
Ted Noffs Foundation recognises and values all children including First Nations children and young people, children and young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, children and young people with disabilities and children and young people who are gender diverse.
Throughout this document the term ‘child or children’ refers to both children and young people, including but not limited to potential clients, current clients and former clients.
Noffs is committed to creating safe environments for children and young people, and to maintaining and improving its policies, procedures and practices to keep children and young people safe. Ted Noffs Foundation actively seeks to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations relevant to child protection.
Ted Noffs Foundation ensures that its employees are suitable and supported to work with children and young people. Noffs requires all employees to maintain a child protection clearance (NSW Working With Children Check, ACT Working With Vulnerable People Registration, QLD Blue Card) and provides all employees with Child Safety Standards Online Training.
