We have a variety of social enterprises that help us generate income. Our social enterprises are run like businesses within our organisation with the primary objective of using surplus funds to reinvest into the foundation.
Social enterprises tackle some of our most entrenched social and environmental challenges in an innovative way. They can come in many shapes and sizes - from our opportunity shops and our online children clothing store to our designer shoe partnership.
Whatever form they take, social enterprises prove that social and environmental responsibility can be combined with financial success. They challenge and help governments to improve the way we design and deliver public services. They foster innovative ideas and a ‘can-do’ attitude and can work in some of the community groups that government finds it hardest to reach. At the same time they raise standards for ethical business and corporate social responsibility.
Noffs op shops have a twofold purpose:
1. To find a new home for quality clothing and other items, and
2. To help fund the services for young people.
