Early-intervention “Regional Reset” camps on the Sunshine Coast are giving at-risk young people a chance to turn things around before they enter the criminal justice system, through a Ted Noffs-run program at Doonan combining adventure activities, counselling and family support over up to 15 weeks. 

Youth Justice Minister Laura Gerber and Noffs Foundation CEO, Matt Noffs, explain how the voluntary program uses structure, treatment and parental involvement to reset behaviours, build skills and create pathways back into education, training and jobs, with the ultimate goal of fewer youth crimes and fewer victims.
