Matt Noffs, Noffs CEO, tells ABC Newcastle’s Jenny Marchant about the new Street University on Beaumont St in Hamilton. The Street University gives local young people a safe place to belong, create and be heard.

Ted Noffs Foundation CEO Matt Noffs spoke with ABC Newcastle about the opening of Street University Newcastle, calling it “a rare space for young people not to be silenced, but to be heard”.

He outlines creative programs Street University has to offer such as podcasting, lyric writing and photography alongside discreet access to counselling and support for mental health, drug and alcohol issues and stress, which he describes as “stealth promotion rather than health promotion.”
