Wer're back again with #MadeInMtDruitt 3 featuring Aaron Saunders. A proud Kamilaroi Biripi man who has grown up in Mt Druitt and continues to work with the indiginous community in the area for the Ted Noffs Foundation.
And were back with #MadeInMtDruitt no 2 featuring a couple who have been residents of Mt Druitt for 50+ years. Rob and Kathleen give their insight into their experiences living in the 2770. They tell us about the sense of community the area has as the groups they are involved with including the Whalan Community Group.
So, the final episode of Struggle Street aired last night on SBS and without delving to deeply into the lively debates that are currently taking place, we just wanted everyone to know that there are two sides to every story. So what are we doing? Well, we decided a small video campaign might help equalize the negative attention Mt Druitt has been receiving.
We are stoked we got the opportunity to put on a one-off event for the visual artists out there.
